A Team Manager Can Assign Roles to Team Members
There Are Two Types of Roles:
- Player Role: You can choose between 3 roles, Backline, Midline or Frontline
- Staff: These are roles typically found in a professional esports team. For Splatoon, we’ll focus on “Captain” , “Coach” and “Administator” (Allows Team Management on the Platform)
⚠️ Note: A team must have at least 4 player roles to be considered valid.
About roles
Obviously, in Splatoon, roles aren’t as rigid as in games like Overwatch or Marvel Rivals, and we know this doesn’t fully reflect all gameplay styles. But we’re starting this way, and over time we’ll think about introducing new features—like letting players directly showcase their preferred weapons, for example.
